Over the years I have accumulated a number of OM lenses (and bought a few) that I really haven't used all that much. I thought I'd dust them off and see what they could do. So far I have been very pleased with all of them. Today I took my 24/2.8 out for a spin and boy was I blown away.

    This was wide open:

This was at f4 (I believe)

  2. I'd been chasing an OM 24mm for a while now, even though I'm not exactly short on 24mm legacy lens options. Your examples certainly speak well for it, but they aren't a particularly cheap option.

Well...I think I got this one for around $130. I tend to agree as my ceiling for legacy lenses is usually around $50 so the OM24 is a bit spendy. I have always kind of wanted a Minolta Rokkor 24/2.8 (the one Leica used as the 24/2.8 R lens).

Then again with the results I'm getting...maybe not.

I've been hunting for that lens for the longest time, currently the OM 28 2.8 lives on my EPL1 as my "normal" lens

I like the 28/2.8 quite a lot and until I came across the 24/2.8 it was one of my favorite "normal" MF lenses. I've heard the OM 28/3.5 is also quite good although I have never used one so I can't say from experience.
