PL25 on borrowed time in Eindhoven..

A colleague of mine was kind enough to lend me his PL25 for the weekend, so I went out this afternoon and took some pictures in my hometown... mostly minimalist & maybe a little abstract... I quite like the lens; yes the rattlesnake is present, but does not bother me. The size of the lens is just fine for me (I used E-PL3), just the right size to allow my left hand to be used as a support.

Anyway, hope you like one or two, thanks for looking!

I like these - I bought a book on Contemplative Photography and most of these shots fit the concept. Very nice. A shame you have to give the lens back!

I really like these shots! I've been holding out for the rumored Oly 25/1.8, but if it doesn't materialize this fall, I'll probably cave and get the PL25/1.4.

Thanks Bob, I have to admit I was not aware of the concept of Contemplative Photography, but thanks to the Internet I just read up a little on that, and yes, I guess it is a type of photography that I use every now and then, trying to find a way to shoot a regular subject in a new and fresh way... It is nice to read that apparently I succeeded in a few shots...!

Pim -thanks for sharing these photos. You compose your photographs very well; you frame fairly simple subjects in a powerfully minimalistic way. Great contrast and lighting, and the sharpness of the lens really helps to deliver your vision.
