    Hi guys ..
I was itching to play with PL25 and decided to leave every other lens at home as I was always reaching for Oly 45 mm 1.8 in the past when ever out for a shoot . After spending nearly this afternoon with it finally I am in love with PL25 and now planning to sell 20 mm 1.7 again. This time this lens convinced me that it deserved more respect than what I offered last time . I just strolled through streets of Melbourne CBD and clicked around 300 shots . I am sharing some of them here . These are all OOC JPEGS shot with EPL2 combo.

    Cheers

Thanks for posting these Bhupinder. I am just getting ready to do the exact same thing, a stroll with just the PL25. A colleague was kind enough to lend his lens to me for the weekend, and I am looking forward to see what it can do....:)!

Hi Bupinder. Great images. Brings back memories of the wonderful time I had in Melbourne way back in late 80's

Considering that the Pany 20 is objectively a "better" lens in terms of optical sharpness and resolution, why is it that the PL25 continues to have such a mythical & aspirational / desire element to it?!? (oh, and please excuse the unintentional puns "objectively" and "element"). I mean the PL is considerably larger and has "inferior" optical performance! I'm still trying to figure this out! Thoughts?!?

My thoughts entirely - there's some nice images in the original post for sure, but nothing that makes me want to sell my 20mm. I would like a 25mm native lens, but I think I'd rather wait until I can afford the Voigtlander.

I quite like #10 feeding the birds. All of these could use a little PP to compensate for the overcast daylight tho.

Kinda reverse thought... i have Voigt 25mm but I wanted PL 25mm because of the auto-focus function.

But I can't deny the F/0.95 wide aperture is very useful for night shot tho...
