Yes, but with tax (a must through the Panasonic site but not through B&H) it comes to $575, so not such a big difference.

The good news is that Panasonic seems to be getting serious about distribution in the US. Thank you Nikon for the competition.

Wow, $480 ($521 with tax) with EPP, even after the new site increased EPP prices.

Man that really low price! So the margin on 25mm is quite high I guess

My local "brick & mortar" camera store folks says this:

Olympus Reps = Great to work with
Panasonic = Not so great to work with

    Yes. (Employee Purchase Program)

Members of the program don't need to necessarily be an employee of Panasonic. Your employer might have business affiliation with Panasonic and the program might be available to you as a benefit through your employer.

They might have changed how EPP works with the new site. I was previously using my personal email address. After the new site is up, I had to re-register using my work email and then the new prices show up.

Plasma Televisions, Digital Cameras, Camcorders and more - Buy online at Panasonic.com

Look for a picture that says "Workplace Discounts" right under the Flash animations. Click on that and go through the registration.

After submitting the initial info, I received an email with the "activation code". You will then have to enter this code to complete EPP registration. I am guessing that they now verify your email address is indeed from a valid company.
