LOL Thanks, and no - it's the sand blasting system installed under the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It provides air and sand to the bridge workers above to remove decades-old paint as they continually renew it. I believe that it's temporary, as it is time for the "big" service, as it were.

It's an amazing operation Bob. They literally hermetically seal off large portions of the bridge as they progress. Whatever goes up comes back down the same system. No sand or chemicals are allowed to dissipate into the atmosphere.
