Hahah, I can't help but feel it looks like a coffee mug in that image!
I should add this here as well
Is there information or way to find out what filter size this lens as shown be?

I can't make out a filter size on it though.
Absolutely none of the images of this new lens (even the newest) show no filter size anywhere on the lens. It is a prototype and maybe Olympus is still trying to get that size down to 62mm. Right now it looks bigger than the front of the 12-40 so I guess we'll have to wait until next year to see if they can make it happen. I fear it's going to be a larger filter size than 62mm and they don't want to start an internet flame war during the introduction of this new lens line. The actual standard size for the new "PRO" line could be 68mm or 72mm?
If it were a Nikon or Canon lens for FF/APC it would be 77mm for sure, as is the new Sigma 50-150mm f2.8. I saw a photo online yesterday that showed the new 12-40 layered over the 40-150 with the rear mounting rings matched up. The front filter ring of the 40-150 is quite a bit bigger than the 62mm of the 12-40. It might have been 67mm, but more likely 72mm.
72 works for me. It is the same as my Nikkor 135 f/2 and 180 f/2.8, so I already have filters for that size, but I wouldn't mind if it were the smaller 67mm size. (Bobby, think you meant 67mm size, not 68mm)
You are correct 67mm filter. The rumors about the other 7-14mm f2.8 and the 300mm f4.0 "PRO" lenses (2015) would hint to me that either of the larger sizes are probably correct.
The 300 f/4 I would be interested in. I have the same with Nikon, it is a 77mm size. Here is hoping that Olympus can knock off 1 step in the filter size and get it to 72, or even 67 (and drop a pound or so)
Yes, dropping a pound or two while dropping the price a couple of hundred dollars would more than make up for the increased filter size!
They actually sell those for canon and nikon.
