Yeah, both of those lenses could be really interesting, even for non-GM1 users who want to keep their kit size down.

Both lenses are interesting. I find it hard to believe that the tiny 35-100mm is an f2.8 constant. Not saying the guy is a liar but I just can't see how a zoom that small could be that fast. If you look at the pic that shows the front element is is a fair amount smaller than the overall diameter which itself is small. I could believe it if he said f2.8-f4 but I would be very very surprised if it is actually an f2.8 constant. I also hope they make it black and not that silver color! Silver looks good on a silver body but ghastly on a black one.

I am super interested in the 15mm but waiting to see what the price is. I fear that since it has the Leica name as well as the aperture ring that it will be expensive. If it isn't too highly priced I will get one, assuming the reviews are favorable that is.

I'd be surprised if that tiny little lens is truly constant f/2.8. Pleasantly surprised, but surprised nonetheless.

If that 35-100 is f/2.8 constant. Mind blown.

Rep in YouTube clearly says f/2.8 throughout.

Rep is the Panasonic UK Technical Product Manager so you would hope he knows what he is talking about. He was quite emphatic about the lens being a constant f2.8.

Honestly, I was excited just thinking about a normal 3.5-5.6 zoom that small with the picture quality of the 12-32.

The guy in the video is holding the existing 35-100mm f/2.8, that's been available for some time. That's not the new micro 35-100mm lens from the ephotozine link.

Come on, there is no way the new 35-100 is also constant f/2.8.

Watch for a few more seconds and he reaches into the cabinet for a smaller silver lens and holds it up next to the existing 35-100mm f/2.8.

I just watched the video an damned if he didn't just emphatically say "They're both f/2.8 apertures throughout".

I still don't believe it. That seems... how is that even possible?

Wholy-cow-a-bunga!!! That will be amazing if they really make that 35-100 f/2.8 that small. Makes you think if they will weather seal it though? And if its actually made what becomes of the current version (I guess discontinued!). Gotta admit the PL 15mm 1.7 looks mighty intriguing as well. Wish it were a 12mm 1.7 however....

Jesus, glad it's not 20mm, 40mm is the worst focal length.

I just have to debate if this new 15mm replaces both my 14mm F2.5 and 17mm F1.8 or just one...
