My father in law and his dog both took advantage of the moment.

Photobombed by Willow as I was trying to photograph the wildflowers crowding the sides of the Bibbulmun Track on the summit of Mt Cooke, Western Australia.

We were walking the Bibbulmun Track in this section k as part of Ibu Anne’s training to complete the Oxfam Trailwalker 50km. Anne ticked off the Trailwalker in early October 2018, having completed the 50 km walk.

When you're not paying attention and compositionally significant moss branches stick up beyond the near focus limit of the lens.

I just came across this one from a few years back.

You may be familiar with the kind of scenario — you've been lying in wait all afternoon for some creature to wake up and show more than its hind paws; the sun's gone down; the blue hour is almost over; it's now effectively night-time and you've resigned yourself to at best maybe being able to grab some sort of vaguely abstract, textural, "artistic" shots, when suddenly the animal breaks cover, you panic, aim wildly and, to complete your humiliation, you get photobombed by a BUSH!

Just about to photograph the bird when a basilisk ran across the water in the foreground. I didn't really get a decent picture of either.

Street was really, really busy. I saw a rare opportunity to get the colourful fruit stall without people in the way, but then the toddler wandered in to shot. I waited in vain for a clear view, but then the crowds returned. It was only afterwards I realised the hair colour matched some of the fruit...
