This rather neglected wheelie bin was on the verge outside the old women’s wing of the Fremantle prison. I do hope the artist has gone on to greater and better things. Graffiti maybe?
On the road from Goomalling to Dowerin, we came across this 10m sign on the side of the road. From what I can gather it was erected by Paul Croute and his friend around 2017.
The Christ of Havana is a large sculpture representing Jesus of Nazareth on a hilltop overlooking the bay in Havana, Cuba. It is the work of the Cuban sculptor Jilma Madera, who won the commission for it in 1953.
