After 33 years since my last visit to the Philippines, I finally returned. At the age of 45, I can only say that I have been away for too long and was overwhelmed by what I had encountered... in a good way of course  I miss my relatives and new friendships already. I long to return to this beautiful country and culture.

I had only a couple of weeks with my OM-D (yes, late adopter lol) before going out to the Philippines. My trip was from the end of June to July 22. I pretty much used the 12-50mm lens due to climate which was super humid, rainy and quite dusty. Yep, I think the weather sealing proved to be helpful.

Do I like the OM-D... oh yeah

I'll slowly post images here and to my Flickr page... just trying to get my house in order again and back to work.

Thanks for the comment monk3y, I was very fortunate to visit again. It did rain on and off daily but never had the need to shield the OM-D. I'll eventually post some that were taken in the rain. It was pouring one day and had nothing better to shoot than street walkers with their umbrellas from an overpass

Nice photos, kabayan, very interesting approach in your color post work as well. I really like the photo of the kalabaw, the guy sitting backwards on his motorcycle (love the rice fields in the background), and the couple walking down the street with their umbrellas. Thanks for sharing, and glad you had a great journey to reconnect with relatives and makes new friends.
