Yes inside rope but with ton of shooting restrictions (tv). I really loved using MFT system. It’s so sharp. AF was fantastic

Soobum, all great shots. My favorite is the last bunker shot. Perfect timing with ball, sand and facial expression, and the framing with edge of bunker. That is a sort of standard golf photo, seen a thousand times, but you've elevated it nicely!

They are great shots, but I don't think shooting golf is proof that m4/3s can shoot sports. :) I kid the golfers...
I shot football soccer volleyball basketball tennis and posted some this forum. Sure low light performance could be better but totally workable. I’d prefer G9+200 2.8 combo over my 1D + 400 2.8 setup

I was making fun of golf, not m4/3s. Interesting to hear your preference vs the Canon kit. Which 1D is that?

I still have canon gears 1DX, 5D4 etc. 1DX is better of course but I enjoying carrying lightweight mft system.

@Soobum Im ,

Great images. Were you required (or requested) to use the silent e-shutter when shooting during the player's swing?

Has anyone measured the sound level at 1M on our shutters?
When my wife takes pics with my E-M1, I can't hear it from more than a meter away, and I'd bet it's below any outdoor background, even at a golf tournament, at 3 meters.

Probably quieter than most people pass gas.

So if golfers complain, well, they’ve got a problem. Birds chirp louder, the wind in the trees is noisier, and yes, we pass gas with ferocity on occasion. Not me of course... :cautious: but I’ve heard it can happen.
