I’ve been seeding the garden with all sorts for a year or so, not knowing what may grow, and every now and then a little wonder appears through the overgrowth - I am no gardener. This one had been budding for about a week and finally opened, some – half of the petals anyway. Then it opened up completely to the spring sunshine. I think it's a daisy, this one : Helichrysum floribundum Half way down on right here : Australian Asteraceae Using the Pany G1 with an old Vivitar/Konica 55/1:1 macro lens with achromat on. BG is a piece of greyed and blackened weather and water worn hardwood that can often be found in creek beds or floodways.
