People and Pets: Michelle + Frankie

It has been almost two years since my last photo commission, a blokes and their dogs fundraiser calendar - I don't put myself out there, but when an acquaintance asked me to do a shoot with her and her miniature dachshund, I quickly swallowed my fear and said Yes!

We worked outdoors and I went with my GX9 and Olympus 60/2.8 macro as the main rig (EM10 mkII with 45/1.8, which I barely used, as backup); the 60mm gave us a good COVID working distance! I found the GX9's eye detection worked very well.

She and I are both very pleased with the results.
