Short of a ground breaking update to sensor technology, the K-5 is a spectacular camera that I'll be holding onto for a long time. Worth every penny of the $1380 I spent on it -at $800, it is a bargain. The E-m5 to be honest deserves a place on the shelf right next to it though, but at $800 you can't go wrong with the K-5. Weather resistant kit lenses can also be had under $200, even less used.
