Was able to buy a couple of pentax auto 110 mount lenses (18mm 24mm 50mm) for a cheap price

Was wondering has anyone tried using them? Are they any good?

I tried googling images and as far as ive seen they dont have any aperture rings?

Looks pretty nice paired with the e-p2/e-pl2 its an all black afair with very very tiny lenses. (this is me, imagining it mounted in my camera. Hahaha!)

Id appreciate if anyone could give me something (a sample images are welcome too) :)

    TIA

These lenses will work only wide open at f/2.8 since they have no diaphragm. From what I have seen, IQ is fairly terrible but on the plus side (?) they are very very tiny.

IQ doesnt account too much for me as this just will be a "fun" lens, maybe used with the pinhole settings on the e-pl2/e-p1. but portability, on the other hand, will be a key thing (plus its dirt cheap!)

i got all lenses under 30usd shipped!

I disagree, I think the IQ is surprisingly good considering the price.

Erphotoreview tested these on a E-p1 and found the 50mm to be sharper than the kit zoom at 42mm.

No photo I have seen demonstrates that. Borders are terrible and the centre average. But then again I don' t own one.

I have the 18 and 25mm. At very close (3-10 ft) they give a pleasant but slightly soft image. At any longer they get very soft very quickly. Can be fun for special effects.

I also disagree. I think the IQ is great on the Pentax 110 lenses. If they had an aperature, my lens search would be over.
