Do you have the zoom? Or someone else, I didn't see it on your list. If so do you have any pictures? I've been looking for a small sized mf zoom for my GF1

but if you load the 1024x768 image you can see softness in the edges on the bridge handrail. Not bad *if* you want that look in a normal (for in close to people shots)

I've found it works really well and is very easy to pick focus on from the rear screen indoors and close to people

Sorry am a little late here, but are those landscape shots shot at f2.8?

I recently got a pentax auto 110 with the 18mm lens and flash.
Went to pentax110.co.uk and found a couple of sample pics showing the quality possible using 110 film : personally I thought the scanned pics were way too awful for me to bother putting film and batteries in the cam, so my G1 will be the beneficiary.
I have a LTM/39mm-to-m4/3rds adapter coming to use an old Jupiter 50mm off a Zorki4K, and with a bit of bodging my 110 lens should fit into a handy 39mm extension tube and thus fit the adapter ... I hope.
Pictures later.
Thanks for opening this thread Hodad.

18mm Pentax 110

Thanks to the review by hodad66 I remembered that I had the
Pentax 110 with the 3 standard lenses (18 / 24 / 50mm) still
sleeping in any box - grabbed it, cannibalised it and made my
own micro4/3 adapter.
(Hint for creating own adapters: Roxsen is selling m4/3 macro reverse
adapters and with some stepping rings + extension / close-up rings
it is pretty easy. The LTM/39mm to m4/3 is a good base as well...)
My favorite of the Pentax 110 lenses is the 18mm.
The first sample still has the open aperture and you see lack of sharpness
and chroma at the borders, so I decided to step it down a bit, using a
ring washer at the back of the lens. This should be app. f4 -
but the upper corners are already a bit dark (2. sample),
which is totally fine after I transformed it into a b&w foto using
LightZone "Alien Infrared" filter.
I really enjoy the fun part of adapting rather every lens to my GF1.
(Something I am working on at the moment is to adapt a Yashinon
DX 1.7/45 lens - I hope I will be able to finish this, but I might end
up to only use it as a fix focus lens...but from some test shots this
morning I can tell already, that this lens really is a diamond!!)

Hi arcueid,
the Pentax 110 lenses have a fix aperture of 2.8 - my stopping
down was done by glueing a ring washer at the back end of
the lens, which changes the aperture to approximately f4,
but that results some darkening in the corners.
While writing this I thought about changing the frame size
to 16:9 and now I realize, that there are no more dark
corners when using the 16:9 aspect ratio.
What I love about this lens, is the size of it - it feels like
a little toy which still gives remarkable results and has a
kind of unique character.

hi, i am waiting for mine from the states. Bought the rather expensive adapter way before I've seen this thread, a pity.

Am still hoping that RJ could maybe come up with a variable diaphragm for this particular adapter!

Just bought a 50mm f2.8 110 lens from the bay - cost me all of 99p (about a buck-fifty).

Now I need to find a way to attach it to my GF1. I've seen PTX 110-M43 adapters for around £14 (from China) but wondered if there was another route I could travel?

Any suggestions by current users will be very much appreciated.

Have you looked on Amazon? That is where I got mine...
