Wow...amazing images.

I think I am going to get one myself. Could you tell which adapter you're using with this lens?

Thanks
My adapter was a relatively inexpensive - but I think excellent - one that I purchase from amazon. There's no brand name on it but it looks identical to the Fotodiox one and/or to the one sold by Rainbow Imaging. Hope this helps.

They're pretty random images and the wind was up but with patience, I captured the images I was looking for. :2thumbs:

I shot purely with Pentax stuff and still use it for film. The 50/ 1.7 is my favorite lens because it produces this (granted, on an APS-C Pentax)

What does the adapted version come out to? It no longer retains its 50mm rating, does it? I am in need of this bokeh again and nothing I currently have (14/25, 30/2.8, 45/1.8) comes close.

The Pentax-M 50/1.7 was the walkaround lens on my MX. Once I got out of grad school and had a little money, I just hadda have the 1.4, so I gave the 1.7 to the missuz, took her 50/2.0 and sold it, and scored the 1.4 at a pawn shop. Fast forward to the digital age and I discover that the 1.7 is considered the more desirable lens. Hadda have one.
