That's very nice. Lovely sharpness and quality. Smooth background.
All taken with the GH2 and a Fotodiox adapter.
Some more, all with the GH2 and Fotodiox adapter.
really lovely shots....that lens seems to work some magic with your camera (and you)
Thanks Luke. It's a steller lens! Cheap as chips, lots of fun at f1.4, and honestly I think the rendition above f4 is as good as my 20/f1.7
The M50 as a landscape lens
That's a beautiful set Nick. Really spectacular.... another victory for low cost glass in capable hands..
Nice thread Alan,
That will push me to use more my old smc 1.4
This one was taken during Christmas. Pretty tiny DOF, isn't it
Some nice shots here. The Pentax fast 50s have a fantastic reputation, especially the SMCs and it's great to see that on display here.
Epl1 Pentax-M 50/1.4 SMC
This lens is one of my favorite 50's. Sharp wide open, great background and a joy to use.
Here's how she looks on the GH2
Longish exposure on the GH2
Some funky bokeh  All at f1.4
Great shots!I have a Pentax 50mm f1.7 SMC-A. Is it worth the trouble getting the f1.4 or a f1.2?Would i notice that much difference in the bokeh?
Some of my own Olympus E-P3 + Pentax-M 50/1.4 shots:
