These are some really nice photos (as well as those on Flickr). Did u have to modify your lens for infinity focus by the way?

I must say I haven't tried infinity focus yet. I will try it asap :)

Thanks for the nice comment :)

I tried it yesterday and it does even focus beyond infinity, so no problem there.

Here's another picture:

It is a Pixco adapter it seems. Got it off ebay but can't find one on there right now...

gorgeous shots! I've been thinking about trying that same setup.. where did you find the lens, and may I ask what the going rate was?

you get excellent contrast out of that lens. And with the way it blurs on the edges it seems to add movement to that image. Very nice!

I found one of these in the basement...

Cosmicar 25mm F1.4 television lens, C-mount. Probably been with some 16mm film camera lenses bought in a grab bag.

I had to polish 0.5mm off of the rear to get infinity focus with the C-Mount adapter.

At F1.4:

and F4:

I've had mine for about a month or so. Great little lens!

Does anyone have a photo of this lens? Is it the one with the cable attached?

not impressed with distant subject rendering (pretty low resolution and low contrast) this lens works for me for close ups where the bokeh really starts to go wild and gives elliptical bubbles, when wide open
