All on a GH2 with Fotodiox adapter.
Here's how she looks on the GH2
Nick, I've just discovered your Pentax legacy lens posts which date back almost three years. So I hope you get to read this.
I have a number of SMC Pentax K-Mount primes which I use from time to time on my Panasonic G1. The PK/MFT adapter is a cheapie and I shall shortly be investing in a Novoflex, but I have been very pleased with the results I have been getting with these thirty-year old lenses. The collection includes a SMC Pentax-M 135mm/f2.5, a SMC Pentax-M 50mm/f1.7 and a SMC Pentax-A 24mm/f2.8. Of the three I tend to use the 50/1.7 the most and find it superb for "stitched" landscape panoramics. It is pin sharp.
Apart from the results, it is wonderful to work with these beautifully built, manual lenses. It takes me back to my Pentax SLR days.
Hi Dave, it'll took a while but I just stumbled back over this post
The M50/f1.7 is one of my old-school favourites too, although lately I've been sans a copy, using the M50/f1.4 instead.
24mm 2.8 still have many fond memories of shots taken with my LX back in the day. Along with the 50/1.7 and 100/2.8 what a trio. Actually I still have the lenses and the camera. Offers anyone?
How much with postage to Sydney? Don't suppose you still have the LX?
**edit** I need to learn to read... I might actually be interested in the set, please PM me if you're serious about selling
