This very small lens is fun to shoot with. Focus is particularly fun. Very smooth. Since the lens is so small you get from one end of the focus ring to the other very fast. Rough adjustments are quick, fine tuning a little sensitive.

The cat's name, btw, is Gary. (I think my friend bought the rug to match the cat.)

The size of this lens is utterly comical. I could use a quarter as a lens cap.

OMG! I need a lens cap for mine. I will look for a film cap. Does it really fit and stay on?

Yes, it fits and stays on really well. I suspect mileage may vary from canister type to canister type; mine is gray in colour (from a black canister). Hopefully a studio near you will have plenty of empty ones you can try out!

Correction. I just ran downstairs to check; the canister cap is black in colour, for what it's worth. As I have lots of old film canisters, I tried various ones out, and made the discovery that you definitely need a specific type. There seem to be two types (in my possession anyway)... there's the type that's completely flat on top, and then there's the type that has a circular indent on top. The first type works, the second type does not.

PS: I have all the same Auto 110 lenses you have, including the 70mm and the 20-40mm zoom. I bought them from someone here at the mu-43 forum! That 24mm lens is so crazy-tiny that I actually initially threw it away with all the packaging; I didn't even realise it was in the box. After the sender reassured me it was in there, I checked again, and sure enough, there it was.

I have read that article!

My dad had this camera when I was a kid, so I know it and its images well. I had a cheap Kodak 110 camera that was the shape of an ice cream sandwich and my dad had the super cool Pentax mini SLR. We had stacks of photos from those cameras, many, notably, of my gerbils inside my toy Millennium Falcon. Those 110 pics had such a distinct quality, something I'm happy to say they retain when used with my e-p2.

Thank you! I will head over to Bel Aire camera and see what I can find.

It really is ridiculously tiny. I keep mine in a ziplock bag because I'm missing the front and back caps. :(

This is kinda similar. (Can you detect e-p3 envy?)

Looks like we have a trend, gentlemen: manual-focus mirror portraits. Oh, and CCRoo, if you look closely you'll notice that I also have an E-P2. Mine just has a couple of cosmetic modifications.

Okinawa,

Ah... So your E-P2 is a bit dressed up? It looks really nice!

Do you guys find that theses lens don't lock in the adapter? I believe they are supposed to click tight but mine does not...

LOL

Sorry about your name!

What brand adapter do you have? Where did you get it?

Thanks!
