The black body actually costs more than the black body + lens. You have to really hate that lens.

I got me a black one (with lens of course) for $339. They might cancel it on me though. I actually went back on to order more right now but noticed the price back up to $399.

I had ordered one too, and now the order status is showing shipment tracking info so I guess they are honoring the $339 price.

Still expensive in my mind considering it's an E-M10 minus an EVF. E-M10 bodies are selling for under $400 on Amazon.

Not everyone wants the bulk of an EVF.

Also, those <$400 E-M10s are not new and don't include the kit zoom. If you don't have one (or if you do) that's an $80-100 value.

I don't know, the E-M10 + pancake is fairly tiny. I've owned like five 14-42mm lenses and they always end up for sale! ;):)

Well, I for one am annoyed that Olympus keeps changing their prices. It says right on the website: prices valid until July 25.

That's fine, but it still makes the camera more like $250 after the sale of the brand new kit lens. For a new E-PL7. Vs $400-ish for a used E-M10. Not everyone even wants a viewfinder.

Jeepers, I don't come here for a few days and miss out! I think the wifi would be fun to play with - remote capture at the bird feeder.
These sell for more than that used on ebay.

FYI mine came in a few days ago for the Silver EPL7 + 14-42II for $339. On top of that I had $20 off on Olympus rewards.

I have to say this is the first Olympus / Panasonic camera that doesn't seem to have shutter shock. I have the delay off completely (not even set to 0) and shots so far have been tack sharp. I prefer the Sony 16mp to the Panasonic 16mp as well and I also don't notice a huge difference from 3-axis to 5-axis in both stills and video. Excited about the grab! Gotta love price typos =).

I agree with all your points.
I've had mine for ages and haven't bothered with that setting either.
    The stabilisation is great too.
Good camera : does what it says on the tin,
and with a VF-4 ontop it is even better than an E-M10

This was about as good a deal as the refurb E-M10 +14-42 with that Olympus outlet coupon a couple of weeks back...$320!

The VF-4 is actually the hugely resolute and magnified E-M1 EVF in a slip-on and tiltable form.
    That's two ways it's better.
Of course it's a big lump.
The e-M10 has to make do with an EVF which is good but very similar to the less resolute Vf-2.
