Congratulations on the new toys. I'm keeping an eye on this neat, little combo... just in case Panny's pro replacement for the GF-1 doesn't work out as hoped.

Do you have the 14mm Panny to compare? The price difference was too much (for me) to justify. But I loved that lens for the week I had it!

So far the 14 works for me. Wish it were faster (both focusing and f-stop), but I like the FOV.

Tom, I have the 14mm and focus is super fast on the GH2 and the E P3. just as fast as the 12mm, of course a 2.0 would be nice but it would also make it quite a bit bigger, the quality is very good and the small size is a big +, and its black...I really don't understand the blink trend, silver cameras, lenses..not my cup of tea

Color aside, I greatly prefer well built metal lenses to plastic ones.

I won't be able to afford it anytime soon, but the 12mm might be the first "real" lens I purchase for MFT.
