I'm thinking about jazzing up my E-PM1. I'm not sure with what and I was hoping y'all could offer a few suggestions. The leatherette is new but I'd like to hear/see what half cases and straps you like.

I wouldn't mind seeing some of the other PEN models all decked out as well.

    Thanks and Happy Holidays!

The only thing I can offer is about a strap. I didn't like having my camera strap around my neck, so I got the SunSniper. It sits on one shoulder, across your body. It attaches to the tripod mount. I find this to be more comfortable when walking around.

Thanks for your input. I have an R strap for my D7000. I'll give it a try.

At some point I'm sure Aki Asahi will come up with a nice leather half case for the Mini. I have one for the EP2, and it's very nice. Google him. He has lots of photos on his website.

Aki-Asahi DOES have E-PM1 leatherette and leather (in colors) coverings. I ordered the #4040 style. You could also do an LCd screen protector and of course either a worst strap or neck strap. I am a big fan of Gordy leather steps but I am finding that mine just doesn't look right with the E-PM1. It looks great on my E-P1 but the scale is ll wrong with the E-PM1.

The Artistan & Artist cloth strap is nice and not so spendy.

Ditto. I ended up making my own with some paracord - just a simple loop with a few well placed knots so it can either be a wrist strap or with some minor adjustments, hang around my neck.

I also just ordered four Aki-Asahi skins for my E-P1 (tan and black) and E-PM1 (green and yellow) - will post some pics when they arrive.

Wonder if powder coating a metal camera body would work? just a thought

Not if you want the camera to work afterwards... ;-)

Leatherettes are for rich people. I have black electrical tape on my black Mini. ;)

Get yourself a good adjustable wrist strap though (or hand strap, but I prefer the wrist for a camera this small). Something that can be adjusted to hold your hand snug to the camera. This is your best support on a Mini.

This is what mine looks like after a few Christmas accessory gifts.

Subscribe to see EXIF info for this image (if available)

I've got a few Gariz accessories on it:

    Gariz EPL3 leather half case
    Gariz Leather finger strap
    Gariz Lumix Lens Cap cover

    I quite like it. :)

I'd rather save my money for lenses. Though I do need a new bag.

    Thanks all for your input.
I was pretty set on the Gariz half case but I think I'm going to try the leatherette and save some funds for a 7.5.

    Happy Holidays!
