Pavement Ends

    Here are a couple of images from my "Pavement Ends" series ... both images taken with a GF1 and the 14/2.5 lens.

    Love the water pump picture, absolutely love it. I have a thing for mechanical structures, so with the sky this for me is a great picture, well done. Darren ;)

    As requested, below are the color versions of both images. With these two color versions, I've attempted to replicate the same tonality and contrast found in the B&W images. You may find my color post-processing technique a bit heavy-handed.

    While I think the color versions look good (nothing wrong with the PP technique, imo), the monochrome versions are outstanding Especially the pump.
