Pastillas is a native delicacy that is derived from carabao's milk. Here are some snaps on the production process:

Nicely done Dave. Water Buffalo milk is a little hard to get over here.

Nice shots, and I love the vignetting and B&W treatment.

    Carigara, Leyte, Philippines.

Leyte is situated in Eastern Visayas region. northeast of Cebu. south of Manila.

Carigara is a town of Leyte famous for, of course, the "pastillas" and also "sundang" (traditional bolo knife) reference > Bolo knife - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

For photos like this what exposure settings on the GF1 do you use? Center weighted?

Hahaha. We do it in a different way. Carabao's milk with a pinch of salt poured on steamed rice. Nyarap!
