Partial Eclipse 20th March 2015, UK

It's a misty morning here in Devon in south west England, and I think that's the only reason I was able to take this photo. The mist is like a massive ND filter I suppose.

The photo looks a bit like I've photoshopped the sun in, but it's a real unedited image straight from my little E-PM1 with the O45-150mm f4-5.6

Yes, the mist hangs on longer here in the middle of Devon (Holsworthy is the nearest town, but still still not very near). I grew up on the north coast near Abbotsham/Northam/Westward Ho! and, although it's not far away, I don't remember it ever being so misty up there.

The cloud cover here was so thick it was impossible to work out where the sun was.
Glad it worked out for you anyway.
Nice shot, the twigs in the foreground help considerably.

Grab shot - through glass and quite heavily cropped - but at least I got a shot! There's even a sun-spot upper left.

You got a better shot than I was able to get here in Barcelona - it was very very cloudy.

This was unfortunately the best that I was able to get (using an E-M5 and Panasonic 100-300mm):

Glasgow was a washout but I'm glad that some of us managed to get a shot or two.

I managed to get some good shots from Edinburgh.
Slightly cloudy which actually helped.

Used my new EM-5 and a Panasonic 45-150mm and an ND8 filter I had.
