Was intending to wait for the Oly 40-150 but the smaller size of the Panny is appealing. As is the current availability. And, I like the option of using in lens stabilization since I could easily see myself buying a Panasonic body at some point. I'm curious about user experiences with focus speed on the CDAF only Oly bodies, specifically the E-M5. Does it compare with lenses like the 12-50 in terms of focus speed, or is it noticeably slower? Also, any CA issues on and Oly body?

Focus is fast and it has internal zoom.
I doubt I will change to the 40-150 f2.8 oly due to size.
The 35-100 is a great lens.

Its as fast as the 12-50, if its slower its negligible, you have nothing to fear, it works like a dream on the em5. On a pana body its blazing fast. The em5 doesnt correct CA, but thankfully its pretty well controlled in this lens. You will not be sorry

These have been my results as well. (I did own the 12-50 Oly for about a year.)
