Although I have several bodies, and too many (!) lenses, I have just ordered the Panny superzoom to use on my GM-5.…
I must admit that the GM-5 is the camera I use the most. With the Panny-grip. The camera & grip should match the weight of the 14-140. Is there anybody out there who uses this comnination?

    Yes.

I have a GX7 which usually has a prime on, and the GM-5 usually has the 14-140 II on. No grip, mostly have the left hand under the lens. Works for me.

I have the Sony RX100 grip on my GM5, not the GM5 grip. The 14-140 is OK on it, but I like it better on my GX85.

Well, I have just got mine 14-140 (II) and I am really optimistic about the combination. I think it ballances very well, and the lens is a heck of a sharp one! Very surprisingly, and the stabilisation works very well.
