Will this lens work okay on the Olympus EPL-2?
Yes, but OIS will not work.
I believe it will work as long as the inbuilt stabilisation is disabled? At least that's how I've heard the other panasonic lenses behave on olympus bodies.
Thanks for your response guys.. Thinking of getting this even though I have the 14-42 kit lens that came with my EPL-2.
It would just be more compact to have on camera and carry in bag, I like to have just my 20mm panasonic lens and the 14-42, my evf-2 and that's about it. I am a newby to all this photography malarky and I am enjoying having this camera in small canvas 'man bag' and being able to grab and shoot.
Yes, but there's no switch to turn OIS on, so on Olympus bodies, you are essentially stuck without OIS from the get-go.
On Panasonic bodies, OIS is controlled through the camera's menus, but Olympus lacks that ability.
