I traded my Lumix G5 for a EM5. This lens has image stabilization. I am not sure what is the best thing: turn IBIS of the EM5 on or off? Maybe one of you could fill me in on this.
I believe that the Panasonic 45-150 lens IS only works on Panasonic body. You don't have a choice, if you want to use IS, you have to turn IBIS of the EM5 on.
I thought there was some menu where you could pick? Either way, in most cases Olympus IBIS is actually better than the lens OIS, so I'd leave it disabled.
I agree there is somewhere on the menu that let's u choose between lens stabilisation and Ibis. I suspect Ibis is better than Panasonic mega os. And about the same as their power os
on the e-m5 mark 1 its not possible to choose between ois and ibis. on newer oly bodies you can choose. but on the e-m5 you have to use ibis...
