A quick shot, handheld today, with the 200+1.4 attached. Shutter was pretty low and I have had 3 cups of coffee already by 10am but it turned out OK for me. It is raining this morning so this beautiful fox is a little matted up.

A Hawk stopped by the back yard and was being harassed by some Blue Jays. Took a few shots hand held with the 1.4x on. With the lens IS, I can get some keepers. The lighting was not ideal but he did let me creep up on him a bit.

As far as I’m concerned it is the best lens in the system

Throw on the 2x tc, and you can get even closer. The AF, still blazing fast and accurate.
