Correct. This provides full adaptability with all of my Panasonic m4/3 bodies (G1, GF1, GH2 and G3), plus the lens has its own aperture ring with full functionality.

How's AF speed with the adapter on a m4/3 body?

Have you had a chance to compare with the m43 version. Is this version superior for the extra cost? Not talking about your price, but the overall extra cost compared to the m43 version.

Focus speed is good, but not blindingly fast like the 14/2.5. The focusing mechanism is audible, though not (to me) annoying.

I haven't even seen the DG version yet, though I have read some who say the resolution of the 4/3 version is superior.

Thank you for the response, I was thinking they had to cut a corner somewhere to reduce the price on the m43 version. I guess an actual aperture control would be a nice add on for some people. Good luck with sale, beautiful lens.

I have the m43 version and the focusing speed on a GH2 is blinding. Faster than all other m43rds lenses I have used, including the 14mm.
However, I don't get the build quality, the aperture ring, distance scale, etc.
Great lens at a fantastic price here.
