The Panasonic Leica 45mm includes everything: caps, hood, and box, and a multicoated B+W UV filter.

The Olympus 12mm comes with caps, JJC metal hood but no box.

Trades are welcome for a Panasonic 12-35mm or an Olympus 60mm both of which I will add some cash on top a lens.

I think there are a few users from Socal, so Im willing to meet up if you want to check out the lenses. Prices will be $450 and $650 for the PL 45mm and Oly 12mm for local pickups.

Is that the hood from the PanaLeica 25mm f/1.4 on the 45mm?

WTH I always thought the hoods for both lenses were the same since I own both. Looks like the real hood is a bit shallower from a quick google search. Welp I bought this lens from Amazon and it was hood that I got.

It's funny; I always wondered whether those two lenses' hoods wouldn't be better suited if they were swapped. I had the 45, but not the 25, so I couldn't tell if they were interchangeable.

Looking at the pics of the 45mm hood, it would seem like a good fit on the 25mm. I always found the hood on the 25mm to be too large, I even bought a mini screw in hood to replace it.

I had both the 45 and the 25, and I actually swapped the hoods. They were counter-intuitive. Didn't realize the 45 is so cheap now. Great lens, good price.

Prices for the 45mm (used) definitely came down with the Oly 60mm.

With the Oly 45 first, as it (P45) was the fastest lens in that general focal length prior to that. Then, the Oly 60 brought competition from the macro side. Seems to have settled in this new price range.
