Cat eye bokeh. I don't mind it and I've never had someone tell me they didn't like a photo I shot of them due to it.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas by Vincent Tsai, on Flickr
Models don’t notice things like cat eye bokeh, photographers do. My preference is round bokeh. I love the Lumix 42.5 1.2 look— and I really like your images. Just a personal point of view.

If you want to shoot wide open in daylight, an ND filter really helps.

And these from the G9. I had the second one printed at 12 inches and it looked amazingly smooth and rich. So I went to 24 inch and it was less impressive - because I could see every speck of dust on the bikes instrument panel ! Note to self: This lens will show my laziness.......

If you're happy to carry a somewhat heavier lens than most in MFT, this one is a beast. I've no idea if its better than the Oly Pro or worse. I don't think it matters. It does something magical with L.MonoD output from the G9.

Shooting with these sort of lenses (Oly Pro primes too) so often produces something special

There is something wrong here as I can only see sideways photos and they don’t look 4/3 to me!

Yeah, they are sideways in the mobile app, but normal in the desktop app. EXIF says g9, so certainly m4/3. Might just be shot/cropped to different aspect ratio.

I reckon there must be something in the way they are posted! As I have never seen this happen to one of my photos that has been posted even from my iPad Mini 5! or iPhone!

It happens to me sometimes when I import photos into my iPhone from the camera via the app and post them on mu-43.

Once the images are uploaded I'll notice they're not rotated correctly, so I have to delete the uploaded image, open it in my iPhone's Photos app, force an edit so it saves as a new file, then re-upload to the forum and the rotation is correct.

Probably something to do with EXIF data not being read, set, or stored correctly... or maybe because @saladin is from the Southern hemisphere and we're up North so auto rotation doesn't work... :D
