I having been using the 20/f1.7 since it first came out and always thought the images it captured were a bit flat. The 25/f1.4 is definitely a step-up. Now I don't miss my 50L as much when I don't feel like carrying my FF system :)

A few photos of our family dog all shot at f1.4.

Couple of film-emulated shots (specifically 400 Tri-X), since I've been taking a few shots on the Spotmatic I recently inherited from my Dad. Been shooting full manual with center-weighted metering on the E-P5/PL25 and then a few with the Spotmatic F/55mm f/1.8 SMC Takumar.

I went to Chicago, and I didn't want to take a lot of equipment with me, so I just had my Panasonic G3 and the 25 mm lens. As I walked through the Art Institute, I saw this man looking at the the painting. This only lasted a few seconds, and I got it only because I was ready for a shot. I had my camera pre set, and I carry it using a wrist strap. I entered this in a camera club contest, and it made it into the year end final competition. We had three pro photographers judging this contest. They thought it had been posed. It hadn't. You need to know your equipment and that happens only by using it a bunch.

One thing I have found is that by looking at these 1:1 in lightroom, I can see which images are really sharp, which lens I was using, and what the settings were. Yes, I get more keepers from my 20 mm, but that is only because the 25 mm needs more work from me. I don't know if you can see it, but on my monitor, you can make out every hair on his head. The 25 mm lens is tack sharp. I will keep both the 20 and 25 mm lens as both are wonderful lens.

I just went through 10 years of my digital images picking out some of the best of my people photos. Both the equipment and I are getting better. L.R. is giving me insight as to what works and what doesn't work. I have kept some on my site that most likely shouldn't be left, as they are not tack sharp, but the new ones all are. While I love b&w, this one screams for using color.

Visited the National Aquarium in Baltimore. As usual the Summilux came in very handy.

While the industry is pumping out new fresh camera bodies, Im thinking...
When my trusty E-p3 and PL25 gives me photos like this, I really cant complain.
Infact, I see no reason for any upgrade whatsoever, except GAS
