Decades ago I owned a 55mm f1.2 lens. I took several pictures during a rainy night of the Marble Arch in London that I couldn't get right in terms of lighting and getting everything in the frame. Last night in a moment of madness I traveled down to Marble Arch to try to redeem myself with a retry of the same scene, but this time armed with my PL15.

nice, but how does the 55mm f1.2 lens pic compare with this one?

I couldn't get the whole arch in without having to stand in the middle of a very busy road. I also couldn't get the balance if the lighting right, and film grain was terrible at 400 ISO. The lens was a Mamiya secor.

A recent trip to the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. I had plans for night sky photography with the 15mm, but the weather forced me into Plan B night photography with clouds. Below are 3 shots with the G9 and 15mm f/1.7 hand held, ISO 1600 at f/1.7, 1/2 seconds to 1 second. This 3 shot pic is the cover shot for my latest YouTube video.

One of my first shots with this lens. I'm really liking it so far and I can see it becoming one of my most used lenses.
