I wonder what was done differently with the PL12 for it to render star-bursts that are better than those on previous PL lenses?

Having said that, I'm kind of bummed that it doesn't seem to render distant light sources as well as the Voigtlander lenses do. It renders star-bursts for close light sources, but not for distant ones.
AFAIK the look of starbursts mainly depend on the shape and number of aperture blades. Unless, of course, a starburst filter is attached to the lens.

My go to lens for traveling now, makes it very easy to take photos in difficult (low) lighting!

Some more pictures from Brunei, just discovered, probably the best spot for sunset viewing in my country, the sun just sinks into the sea horizon

Hi guys, I'm looking for this lens but I have some concerns regarding chromatic aberrations at wide apertures specially with front light. I like the 24 mm eq. for my way to do, as well as I always used the same focal length with different format sensor. Looking on the web I seen some online tests where CA is fairly widespread at f/1.4
Does anyone has feedback about that?

Thanks

I am loving using this to photograph my little bubs. Both wide open (edit: the second one was at f1.6 -- finger must have slipped!).

This is a nice lens for travel and documentary, not my forte, but working on it. A few from a recent trip:

(Edit: I'm particularly pleased with the corners, given how wide this thing is. The Boston photograph isn't particularly special but it looks very good across the frame blown up.)
