I picked up a mint copy at a nice price, and just got it today. First results on my G80 look nice. Weather is supposed to be crummy this weekend, unfortunately. Might have to put that weather sealed combo to the test.

I got a pristine used copy of this lens recently, just starting to really try it out. I have to say, the most surprising aspect to me is the close focusing ability, paired with the G9's post focus stacking 6k photo mode makes for some fun playing around

i've been interested in the pl12-60/2.8-4 for awhile.
i am surprised by how few images are posted on this thread.
the other lenses i'm looking at, the o12-40/2.8 pro and the o12-100/4 pro, seem to have so many more images (and thus supporters?).
i will continue to hunt for images taken with this lens and see of i can imagine my use of this lens with either my g7 or gx85 (and maybe a g9 in the future?).
thanks to those who have taken the time to share their efforts.

I pondered this myself along with a few other lens considerations before going with the PL. Most people have a problem with the variable aperture, even though it's faster than the 12-100 below 50mm. For my use as an all weather outdoor lens, the speed isn't a huge consideration. The extra reach over the f/2.8 zooms is nice for walk around purposes, and of course having 12mm is nice vs the other "super zooms". If I had an EM1 instead of a G9 I likely would have tried to get a 12-100, for the same reason I went with the PL 12-60 on a Panny body, dual IS. The price is another factor, my used PL 12-60 was $500, I doubt 12-100s are available near that? Like I mentioned above, I just got this lens, but I can post a few of my mediocre picks from a few days ago.
