I may be biased, coming from the world of kit/base lenses, but I was very impressed with my first few minutes with this lens. You can get right up on subjects and it doesn’t mind at all.

Loving this lens. There should be more pictures of its abilities here—I will press on! Zoomed to 60mm, it can still get good detail and fast focus.

Mine's arrving tomorrow, I expect, to be mated to my new (since yesterday) EM1.3.. (Had an EM1.2 and Oly 12-100/4 Pro in 2017 but wanted faster lenses this time around.) .Got mine, used, from LensAuthority...
https://www.lensauthority.com/t/camera-systems/m43
...a sister company to LensRentals.. Also have a PanaLeica 50-200/2.8-4 and an 8-16/2.8-4 incoming.. Pics tomorrow during the rain, I expect.

No doubt you mean the 8-18mm. We are not envious:cautious:
In any case, that's my dream team of a lens line up, and my intended acquisition target going forward. I got the 12-60 recently, and it's worth its weight in gold.

I'm thinking of going the other way, but really reluctant to give up the 12-60 and can't afford to keep both. Any reasons for the change and any regrets?
I wanted slightly faster lenses this time so chose particular lenses and not brand--they just turned out to be all Panasonic.. I don't have any lenses yet--OOPS!--there's the FedEx truck!!! More later. ;)

My backyard on a soon-to-be-raining day in the Sonoran desert.. The five-acre 'yard' over the wall used to contain one house and lots of grass and grapefruit and orange trees.. Now it's 10 Mcmansions...but that's OK because the row of old, prolific pecan trees are GONE.. ... :D :D :dance3:
GAWD we hated them!!!!

Arriving today are the P-Leica 8-18 and the Oly 25/1.2 Pro plus lots of little odds'n'ends..

Received my new, smaller bag.

Also a Think Tank, the new one, an Airpport Advantage, is an inch to two inches smaller in all directions, is NOT convertible to a backpack, and weighs FOUR pounds less, empty.. I believe that it'll weigh less than 20 pounds, fully loaded, compared with the older bag's almost 30 pounds.. I'm VERY happy with this system! :D

I don’t use this lens as often as I probably should.

Forest of early Christmas trees?

Some detail was lost when I converted this shot into jpg but zoom in 100% to see why I believe Leica 12-60 is a perfect all-around lens which covers almost all situations. (well, not low light or telephoto). This is a handheld shot on a windy day at 60mm (120mm equivalent) and yet dual-IS captured all those tiny balls in the inflorescence.

On a related note, how can I get more of those soap bubble bokeh circles which float in the background? Havent been able to re-create them in other pictures and don't bother investing 1000€ in Trioplan 100 if a lens I already own can make them as well😁

If the P12-60mm was the standard lens of choice for the G80, then this lens was made for the G90. It balances very well on that body and produces some excellent pics with the 20mp sensor.
