Panasonic is outsourcing their midrange TV

While not strictly a camera oriented news, maybe there are those who use their TVs for image editing, but Panasonic seems to minimize their manufacturing of TVs, with Low-end already outsourced and factories closed in Vietnam and India, now with Mid-range being outsourced as well.
I do wonder if this is an in-house attempt to consolidate their profit margins given the current state of "EVERYTHING" shortage and the Chinese brands upping their game on TV quality while lowering the costs, even Quantum Dot LEDs and OLEDs being offered cheap-ish. I remember once Panasonic had quite a close collaboration between their camera division and TVs to offer IQ improvements and compatibility, remember HLG, 1080p and color profiles identical on GH1, GH2, GH3 with their high end TVs?

Right now Panasonic is the biggest competitor in video (small scale) production to Sony and I imagine 6K, 8K and higher would be a huge push and in sync with TV manufacturing and design.
