    Hi Guys ..
I was just window shopping in one of the camera stores when I came across this camcorder from panasonic and was shocked to see 5Axis OIS . I have no idea why panny wont implement this in MFT cameras?

Yes, Panasonic has it since hc-v700 (announced on April, 2012), there is even official demo testbed video on YouTube (search for Panasonic new feature hybrid o.i.s). Not sure if it's completely optical or combined optical+digital (hybrid o.i.s without '+' was combined). Anyways, it doesn't look like Panasonic is going to add it to m43 anytime soon

The cynic in me doesn't expect Panasonic to use in-body IS. Having it in the lens encourages owners of Panasonic bodies to buy the Panasonic lens over the Olympus equivalent (where there is an equivalent). It also means you pay for IS in each lens you buy, rather than just once.

Yes but Panasonic gives you lens hoods & a much easier to clean sensor over a 5-Axis IBIS one
