Hi all. Recently took delivery of my new GX8 body to compliment my OMD-EM1, and so far loving it. However today noticed some weird behavior.

When pairing the GX8 with my Olympus 7-14 F2.8 Pro lens, whilst the GX8 acquires focus just as snappily as the EM1, I've noticed that once focus has been achieved, the GX8 seems to micro adjust focus slightly back and forwards continually. In the viewfinder you can see small "shudders" from the AF system back and forwards ever so very slightly continuously.

Is this a feature of a slight incompatibility with Panasonic's DFD focusing system with Olympus lenses, or am I doing something wrong / have a wrong setting on the camera please ?

Seems like AF is set to AFC. Set it to AFS and it work work as expected.
