Probably the best flash currently available for m4/3. Fully compatible with Olympus and Panasonic wireless flash system. I upgraded the firmware to the latest so it works flawlessly with GH3. Only used for taking pictures at home a few times.

I'm still trying to figure out what makes the Metz the best flash out for M43, compared to the new Panny/Oly. I thought it might be light output but the Metz is 1/2 of the Panny according to B&H. So what's so good about it? And why is it more expensive than the Panny FL360L?

I'm not sure where you are getting your information from but I don't see anywhere where it says that Metz is half the output of Olympus/Panasonic 600R flash. On the contrary Metz has higher output. Also, Metz has more features including USB firmware upgradability.

I had the 600R before but I sold it and bought Metz. In my personal experience it not only cycles faster than Oly/Panny flash but it also gives more consistent results.

B&H specs are wrong. They are mixing up metric and imperial. The metz guide number is 58m not 58ft at ISO 100/max zoom (105mm). The Oly/pana is 36m at ISO 100 and its max zoom(85mm). So the Metz has about 50% more output.
