    Which version of the 14-45? Metal or plastic mount?

    Side note: did the 14-45mm ever come in a plastic mount? I believe that Olympus had two versions of the first generation 14-42mm with metal, then plastic mounts, but I'm pretty sure that Panasonic made the switch from metal to plastic only when they went from 14-45mm to 14-42mm.

    You are correct. The Panny 14-45 was and is only made with the metal mount. The Panny 14-42 was and is only made with the plastic mount.
