Description

Take your photography back to a simpler time with this minty antique relic (c. 2010). Have you ever imagined what it was like for those first micro four thirds photographers, who even using rudimentary equipment managed to create beautiful images?

Despite having to compose pictures through a downright stone age 1.4M dot EVF or 460,000 dot rear screen, you can still take great photos if you really take your time! And although the ISO on this camera only reaches the very highest film ISOs (6400), it turns out this camera can still render discerbale objects after the sun sets.

I must admit that this quaint piece of technology lacks an oreintation sensor and HDR/panorama mode, so there is some high art that will simply not be produced from this camera.

But as I said, I have a dim memory of using a Nikon FM10 in decades past that ran off of a watch battery. It made no beeps or blinks and the film was not suspended in a magnetic field allowing me to shoot 1/2 second handheld shots... but I do remember having a lot of fun and even getting one or two keepers.

All of this is to say....Panasonic G2 body (DMC-G2) for sale. Comes in original box with everything, including charger, manuals, CD, etc. Also includes an extra battery. The strap on the body is from a G3. In the photos you can see the camera is in great shape and has seen very little use (~3000 actuations).

Really nice camera in the Panasonic line - loved mine before I went to the GH2.
Loads of features and excellent ergonomics - I miss it!
Someone starting out on a budget couldn't do better - a steal at this price . . .
