Ah, well it is a wonderful looking place! I really need to get out to the country...not that I live in a city, per se...but your images really brought home the feelings I get when I'm out in less populated and beautiful areas. Many thanks, Glenn.

You're welcome. I'm lucky to live 10 minutes from there and today the weather was exceptionally bright and clear, ideal for trying a new lens.

Welcome Imoeba :friends:

in the forum post editor, just click on the "Insert Image" icon and insert the image address there.

Nice shot - the 7-14 is so wide, if you have a bright sky and dark land exposure can be a challenge... it's a shame we can't use a graduated ND filter.

Cheers

Brian

Actually, I'm glad you posted your second image as a link... it's quite huge on my screen (only 1920 x 1200 pixels )... 1024 wide works well as a maximum for usual posting.

Thanks for sharing!

Cheers

Brian

Got mine just before the weekend. While playing around I noticed that it can be focused surprisingly close. Inspired me to take the following shot with the front of the lens almost in the flower; hence the very open look of the flower.

that's an expensive piece of glass, well plastic and glass - is it worth it? - I know that there is no AF alternative if you want to go wide on the M43 - but at almost £1,000 - it must be some lens
