    Hi

I dropped my Panasonic 45-200mm zoom lens, not very far, maybe 30 cm, in a cloth case, and I have noticed that it makes a slight knocking sound when i move it from side to side. Maybe this sound was here before? Everything looks fine and it takes pictures fine, but I wondered if this was a normal sound?
    Thanks in advance

It's the OIS. Does it knock when it's working? I mean camera on and OIS on? If not, it's normal. I think ;-)

At least PL 45 have a few lines in the manual that explains the knocking sound and tells it's normal.

Yes, just tested it, it stops when it's working - curiously enough with the OIS off or on! Phew, i'm relieved I have not damaged it.
