Ha. I just picked one up from the local JB HiFi, who were having a bit of a clearout sale, for $199 brand spankers. They couldn't find the hood, which is hardly the end of the world. Anyway, just finished updating the lens firmware to the latest version, which gives dual IS, haven't shot anything of note as yet. Just a few practice/test shots. Looks plenty sharp to me. Nice colour rendition too. Super light, but still feels good quality. I shall post a few shots when I've actually taken something decent :)

That's less than what I paid for a used one a number of years back! I still think they should refresh this lens with WR, makes more sense than the 45-200. It's a very underrated lens.

The first flower came out today on my Honeysuckle.

I recently purchased a used 45-175mm (owned one originally when I had my first GF1 Mu43 camera).
I updated the firmware and took it out for a quick walk and these are the results - Happy!!

hello all,
I just purchased this lens recently, and had a quick test (involving neighbour's cat).

ISO 1600/ f5.6/ 1/80s / 175 mm; quick post processed in DxO OpticsPro 11.
Still learning to use this lens, but my first impression is I love this lens! Looking forward to shoot more with this lens.

Some incredible images here. I haven't got near to that sort of image quality with my 45-175 yet. But I have now upgraded the firmware, and it focuses a lot faster. Now I am waiting for some 'good' light'.

I think I've posted these in other threads, but it's worth putting them here too I think. It goes pretty good the 45-175

I was thinking about an Olympus 45-150 F2.8, and then took this bad boy out again...what do I need the Olympus for? This lens is quite amazing--even at 150mm.
