Hello! I soaked my panasonic lens while kayaking. I have chalk residue on the internal lens elements. Beside that the lens is working both mechanikly and Electronic. I have taken the lens apart but im stuck at the last element witch connects to the inside of the Front element (see picture) Anyone know how to take this last step apart without breaking anything? I dont have any screws to work with here. I considered the lens toast so i just want to take a last wack at it before tossing it. Hope someone knows! Have a nice day!

Barry may well be right. If there is no other way to separate the elements, rinsing them in distilled water might get rid of the chalk residue, and then dry it with some heat and then in rice, before reassembly.
